Joseph & His Brothers

I am happy to say I just finished the Joseph and His Brothers painting I have been busy with for some time now. The painting depicts the very moment Joseph revealed himself to his brothers who had sold him into slavery. He said to them, "You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good." It was an incredible response of observing the sovereignty of God in all the affairs of mankind, even after enduring such hardship, which makes it such a fine example to observe in our own lives.

Every figure has emblems identifying them according to the prophecy their father Jacob spoke over each son just before he died. The details can be read in the 49th chapter of Genesis.
