Nothing, But Nothing is Impossible

Today is the day 31 years ago that I began work for the Russian series of paintings that ended up as 120 paintings. What started as a single exhibit of 26 pieces, began touring for 7 years in the United States and Western Europe. By God's grace I found myself raising $1.25 million of humanitarian relief for Russia in the form of seeds and vitamins.  I eventually formed Arts for Relief and Missions, a 501c3 charitable organization that still functions to this day, though our focus has turned to Africa. No one was more surprised than I was, even though I know well that nothing is impossible for God. So I give thanks for this day, 31 years ago, when I had no idea what was coming when I sat at a kitchen table calling seed companies, ending up with the Department of Defense paying $40,000 for shipping the goods directly to Moscow. Forty tons of it. And, by another miracle, it was distributed through 11 time zones in a matter of days. 

Nothing, but nothing, is impossible for God.
